a heartwarming stay
kind host clean bathroom
fatima. she welcomed me so warmly. the room was very clean, and the bathroom sparkled. arriving late, she brought me water, a simple act of kindness i appreciated. i felt right at home immediately.
the location was a bit far from the city center. i found it a little inconvenient to walk to the main attractions. it wasn't a major issue, but something to consider.

the guest house offers a peaceful location, a short walk from local bars and cafes. you can reach a square filled with restaurants in about ten minutes. campanha station is around a twenty-minute walk.

the room provides comfortable accommodations. fresh towels were supplied daily. the beds were made daily as well. the house maintains an authentic portuguese style.

room fell short of expectations
faulty air conditioning missing safe
the air conditioning wasn't working when i got there. it took a day to fix. there weren't any temperature controls either. i also expect a safe for passports, but it wasn't there. there was no proper storage for clothes, just a wire with hangers.
